Noaa Prepares To Launch New Polar Orbiting Satellite For Climate Amp Weather

A new polar-NOAA environmental satellite in orbit, with the launch of the next month, will support NOAA weather forecasting and ocean, including long-range climate forecasts for El Nio and La Nia and U.S. Support in operations rescue and research. The new spacecraft - Prime NOAA-N - is expected to raise from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, on February 4th, 2009 at 2:22 am PST.
